I have already gone on record as saying that Mark Richt needs to go. In the interest of equal time, I wish to present a differing opinion.
AJC sports columnist Tony Barnhart offers his opinion on why Mark Richt should stay at Georgia, at least through the 2011 season. In his view, the indicators at Georgia’s program are headed upward, last week’s loss notwithstanding. He also makes the point that if Georgia had won in Jacksonville, we probably would not be having this conversation. If three points is the difference between keeping a coach and letting him go, then you should keep him.
